Lois June Greve, 85, of Decatur passed away on Monday, January, 16 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
A service to celebrate Lois’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 20, 2012 at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood St. Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Heyworth Fire Department, Heyworth Ambulance or to the Family.
Lois was born on February 16, 1926 in Normal, IL the daughter of Eddie and Georgia Mae (Lesher) Traylor. She married Robert Greve on August 25, 1973. Lois was very proud of being elected to the Bloomington Bowling Hall of Fame. She loved to bowl as well as spend time on the golf course and in later years loved playing bingo.
Surviving is her husband: Robert Greve of Decatur, IL; daughters: Lynn Cullison and husband Chris of Forsyth, IL, Nikki Ellis and husband Steve of Heyworth, IL; step-daughters: Jane Jermac and husband Ken of Chatin, S.C., Susan Diggle and husband David of Peoria, IL, and Nancy Conlon and husband Steve of Mattoon, IL; six grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
Her family will always remember her spunky outlook and enthusiasm for shopping. L.J. loved her family very much and they will miss her greatly.
